Use a 3-minute film- a 3 minutes' film doesn't work.

I have read before something like that, two week holiday, two weeks holiday.2 weeks' holiday. I remember they are the same because it is a matter of style not grammar.

Hi Nado,
A two-week holiday. -- Common and preferred in my dialect
Two weeks' holiday. -- Okay in context
A holiday of two weeks. -- Fine, but less common.

NOT: A two weeks holiday.

I rarely give answers to what a thread asks.

But I think, in this case, you could also say 'a three-minute-long film' to mean the same.

Teachers, please correct me if I'm wrong.

There's no reason to use the word "long." It's not incorrect, but it's not necessary.

You'll watch a short, three-minute film, and then the guide will take you to the next stop on the tour.
