Hello,
Can anybody read my essay and tell me if I expressed my thoughts clearly to the reader?

What does success mean to people? Nobody can answer on this question exactly. The word “success” just like “happiness” has very comprehensive meaning, and each person has his own explanation for this. For example: some people would say that success is having a well-being family, whereas other people would say that success is having their own house at a beach. However, the answer on the same question for the some immigrants of the United States can be related to their financial situation. Many immigrants came to the US due to their bad financial situation in their original country. Thus, in this essay, let’s associate success with getting rich. Now, how can immigrants become successful in the US? The answer on this question consists in several steps.
First, learning English is the most important step for the immigrants in the beginning of their way to become successful in the US. Some people think that having elementary knowledge of English is enough for a living in the US. Well, that would be enough for the people without any ambitions, but not for the people who set big goals and go after them. For example: working at some fast food restaurant does not demand knowing English very good. Usually, for the immigrants who are working at the fast food restaurants it’s enough to know some limited number of primary phrases for a good service. Unlike these immigrants, the immigrants who are looking for the high-paid jobs should know at least academic English. It’s because the job-market these days has a high competition, and the immigrants with bad English have no chance to win in fight for a good job position with American people or any other English native speakers. To sum up, it’s almost impossible to become a successful immigrant in the Unites States without a strong knowledge of English.
Getting a good job is the second step on the way to become successful in the US. This is a very important step, but it’s also important to understand that the meaning of a good job is not only limited to a high salary. The job also can be considered as a good job if it gives some kind of pleasure to a worker. Only the worker who enjoys working at his job can achieve incredibly high results or becomes successful. The most of the time, getting a good job is a hard and long process. Sometimes, the beginning of this process is the hardest period, because the person is not sure what exactly he wants to do for a living. The best solution for the situations similar to this one is going to school and taking classes in which he is most interested in contrast to other classes. A little later he will find himself very interested in something, and that could be a good beginning for a getting a good job. All in all, once the person gets a good job he will become very close to the success.
The final step is about doing a capture. To understand an exact meaning of the phrase “doing the capture” in this paragraph, first it would be good to understand the meaning of “goal”. The goal is a kind of prize that the immigrant wants to receive after the all he went through. Therefore, doing the capture means taking the prize. However, taking the prize is not as easy as it seems. Here’s a good example to show what difficulties the immigrants can meet in the last step of becoming successful in the United States. Let’s assumes that the immigrant set the goal to become a vise-president of some big corporation. Because he worked hard every day, he learned English and got a good position at the corporation where he planned to become a vise-president. Five years later, he has own home, good car and the same good job, but he still doesn’t get the prize, and he feels bad about this. The reason why he still without the prize is that the immigrant didn’t think that to get a prize he must have worked as hard as he did it before getting the job. As can be seen, the last step of getting successful is a very tricky step, because once person achieved second step, he thinks he already achieved the final step.
To summarize, let’s briefly go through the entire way of becoming successful for immigrants in the US. Once the immigrants came to the United States, they set the goals. As soon as the goals were set, the immigrants are realizing that they are not ready to do the capture, so they start thinking how to get ready for taking the prize. Obviously, they can see that they need a good job, but to get a good job without English is impossible, so the immigrants are deciding to learn English first. Despite of the fact that the success here associated with getting rich, the first step, which is about learning English, can be applied for all immigrants with different success meanings. Therefore, no matter if the immigrant has or not big goals, knowing English will be always helpful for a living in the United States.
