Hi,
Could you help me improve this sentence?

In the current case, while increasing x y(x) converges more slowly than it does (or did?) in the previous case.

y(x) is a function of x and a parameter a. For each value of a we have a "case", just an example , let's say y(x)=x^a (x to the power a), in the previous case a=-2, the present case a = -1.

Thanks so much.

Have a nice day.

In this case, with an increase in value of ‘x’ , Y(x) converges more slowly than it did in the previous case.
