I have to rewrite these sentences with the WORD GIVEN and without changing the meaning. I need help because I think that I make many mistakes.

i wrote: NEITHER John and Derek like Monday mornings
Neither John nor Derek like Monday mornings.

2 What a terrible cough! I think you should see a doctor
IF I were you, i'll see a doctor
If I were you, I would see a doctor

3 Americans eat more fast food than Italians
ITALIANS DON'T eat as many fast food as Americans
Italians don't eat as much fast food as Americans

4 Although she's popular, some people see Madonna as an unscrupulous materialist
DESPITE being popular, some people see Madonna as an unscrupulous materialist
Correct!

5 I regret not saving the article about Pirelli building
I WISH i don't save the article about Pirelli building
I wish I had saved the article about the Pirelli building

6 Nobody should unfasten their seatbelts during takeoff or landing
SEATBELTS shoudn't been unfastedduring takeoff or landing
Seatbelts shouldn't be unfastened during takeoff or landing

7 We're going to Paris next week and to Rome the week after
NOT ONLY are we going to Paris next week but [STRIKE]also [/STRIKE]to Rome the week after
Remove "also" and it's correct

THE WEATHER was so terrible that we decided to come home early
Correct

Correct

See above.

Edit: I just discovered that this is a duplicate post and someone else had replied to the other one.

Hi englishlover, and welcome to the forums.

I've merged your two threads. In the future, please post a question only once.

As a grammar, note, although the Madonna one is perfectly understandable, a tough grader will mark you down for that one. It's not "some people" who are popular, but that's what the structure of the sentence implies. Try starting "Despite Madonna's popularity,... " and then try to do the rest.
