Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentences?

These mobile cell after some time stop, germinate and give rise to a new organism.

germinate = to cause to sprout; to shoot; to begin to vegetate; to begin to develop, as a germ

give rise to = be the cause or origin of

The economic situation gave rise to widespread dissatisfaction.

dissatisfaction = the feeling of being displeased and discontent

The ambitious man has little happiness, but is subject to much uneasiness and dissatisfaction.

He avoided to express his dissatisfaction with working conditions.

He was never slow to express his dissatisfaction with the service he received.

Thank you for your efforts.

Regards,

V.

Hi Tdol,

Thank you for the relevant amendment. Such being the case I would try something new:

These agile (wandering, movable) cells after some time stop, germinate and give rise to a new organism.

Thank you gain for your kindness.

Regards,

V.
