Hola, querría saber si "get on down" es un "english slang" o un "idiom" y qué significa.
Gracias

"Get on down" simply means to "go to a place". As a 24 year-old from California, it sounds very old-fashioned and rural (from the countryside).

COMMERCIAL ON TV:
We've got the best prices in town! So get on down to Billy's Tire Shop today!

If you have an example, I could clarify. Gracias

He may have had "to go down" in mind as in "this is how it all went down" in the sense of this is how it all happened.
