is this sentence correct?

Thank you for your e-mail. I would suggest that I do the photocopying of all Mr. John's statements and Mary can do the photocopying of Mr. Xavier's statements. That way, we can do the work efficiently.

You can use "suggest" that way, or you can say "I recommend."

Note that "John" and "Xavier" are usually given names (first names in most Western cultures) and we don't use "Mr." with first names. We use it with family names.

You could. In that case, I'd use 'does':
"I'd suggest/recommend that Mary does the photocopying ..."
"I suggested/recommended that Mary do the photocopying ..." (or 'does')

With 'do', the first sounds strange, even to the likes of me, who like the subjunctive. This sounds good with "be" but not with "do".
"I recommend that Mary be promoted."
"I recommend that Mary does the photocopying."
Many people will avoid this be using "should be" and "should do" respectively (which causes its own problems), or with "I recommend for Mary to be promoted ... for Mary to do the photocopying ...."

I like it.
I think that "does" is best used when something is already being done. And I especially would not use "does" with 'suggest' in a sentence like that.

''I suggest that Mary does the photocopying.'' can mean 'I believe, or I want you to believe, that Mary does the photocopying.' A sentence like this might be most likely to be said by a lawyer in court, but the fact still is that it is ambiguous.
(Actually, it's not ambiguous to me because I would take it to mean 'I believe....')

I suggest that Mary (is the best person to) do the photocopying.'
I recommend that Mary do the photocopying.
