    Word usage

    Hello there,

Is there a word called "confliction"?

I have gone through a few online dictionaries and some say it is and some it is not.

    Could someone help me please....

I've never heard it used. M-W says it's archaic.
Why not use a more commonly-used word?

    Thank you!

    I understood...

It is like the word "archaic" itself is archaic.
