    Nothing is what it seems

    Hi,

Would you help me use the sentences below in a situation. Or how could we say them in other words with the same meaning?

    1. Nothing is what it seems.
    2. John had been caught off guard and he knew it.
    3. I want you on the next transport off this rock.
    4. I'll be by tomorrow for those Rolexes.
    5. From out of nowhere three flying images, two otherwordly and one human, soured around them.

These sentences come from the movie Men in Black.

    Many thanks.

Why don't you have a try first, and we can correct your efforts?

If you look closely at things, you will see that things are really different from how they first appear.

    2. John had been caught off guard and he knew it.
John was not paying attention. To be 'on guard' is to be alert.
"The goalkeeper was caught off guard by the opposing team, who easily scored a goal."

    3. I want you on the next transport off this rock.
I want you to leave this island by the next available transport.

    4. I'll be by tomorrow for those Rolexes.

I'll will call by, tomorrow ... I will drop in tomorrow...

    5. From out of nowhere three flying images, two otherwordly and one human, soured around them.
They suddenly appeared, as if they came from nowhere.

    1. It's kinda like saying don't judge the book by its cover. Something like that.
    2. I don't really know how to interpret this one.
    3. I want you to be on that next train or bus and off this rock. Yes
    4. I'll be stopping byhere tomorrow for those Rolexes. Yes
    5. Coming from nowhere three flying images, two otherwordly and one human, soured around them. Yes.

You seem to have an idea about most of them.
