Would like to verify this sentence


I feed a fish to a cat.

The above senence does not sound right.
Do you think it should be....... I feed the cat with a fish

feed - give food to (person/animal)

I feed the cat with a fish. - correct

These are also correct:
"I feed a fish to the cat."
"I feed fish to the cat."
"I feed the cat a fish."
"I feed the cat fish."

It doesn't matter whether you mention the cat or the fish first.
