    Help to read this?

    The sentence is:

'We'D better have a meeting of the Secret Seven,'

This line is taken from Enid Blyton "The secret Seven" novel.

I do not understand the 'We'D" mean.

    How could i read this?

    Help Me.

    Thankx

In this case "we'd better" is a contraction of "we had better", in other words "we should".
