    Post is this sentence correct?

    Hello everybody!
    Could you please tell me if does this phrase sounds good?!
    Is it grammatically correct?

    "I received your email address(or is better your contact?) from the International Scholarship Department."

    You can say "email address" or "contact details" (although contact details might suggest that you have also got a telephone number/address).

    I would use "obtained", not "received".

    What about "I had your email address"?

    It's a formal letter...
