    Parents

I just want to be sure about the answer to this question. Is it my parents was/is or were/are? Is the subject parents? Am I the subject “my”?

    Re: Parents

Parents is the subject and it takes a plural verb.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
