    Hello All,

Is the word "rendezvous " English Origin?

No, French from 'rendez-vous!' which means 'show yourself!' (unless someone's got a better translation?).

But I find the synonyms for this word as something that refers to a meeting or appointment or a gathering.

    Any thoughts?
Yeah, I was just explaining the origin of the word - a noun in English, an imperative+pronoun in French. I have, however, no idea of the process by which this transformation happened.
