    GO or COME

Some days ago,I did a gap filling exercise online. My sentence was changed by some robot.I really don't know the reason why.

My sentence : When I go there,I will help you.

Robot's sentence : When I come there ,I will help you.

Is there the difference of direction in meaning between go and come in English language?
I am at home .Can I say:
    1. I come to school every day.
    2. I go to school every day.
    Thanks for your answers.

    Re: GO or COME

AFAIK, the correct sentence is "i go to shcool every day".
I thinks the difference in you first example is that you have to be in the same plece were that person is. If you are not, you can't help him/her/it.
    Wait for the experts
    regards

    Re: GO or COME

Generally come means toward the speaker and go means away from the speaker. Therefore, if you were in school you could tell your teacher that you come to school every day and that your mother will come to pick you up today. Also, if you were in school talking to your teacher you could say that you usually go to the library after school, but today you and your mother will go to the mall.
