    mening of the words

    Hi,
    I couldn' find the exact meaning of:
    browned of - does it mean an effect of lying in the sun all day?
    The dog is house -trained.
    To "bear fruit " means yo have a lot of children?
    Please help me,

    Would you have the context for 'browned'. It means to turn brown by cooking (e.g., The ham browned nicely), andwith -ing, to people sun tanning (e.g., you're browning nicely)

    The dog is house-trained.
    The dog is trained to live in the house. Specifically, it doesn't urinate or deficate in the house.

    bear fruit means, to produce something, e.g., ideas.
