    going or going on

    we say How is your day going on? or how is your day going?
    Also are there any other informal phrases to ask something similar like how is day going

    Omit the "on."
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
