Can we say in English:

Two worlds which are in this one?

It wants to mean all the worlds are in this one in which all we live

Is it understandable?

Thanks

Well, the only problem is that, as far as I know, there is only one world. It is the one in which we all live. What other worlds are you talking about?

Metaphorical worlds, mental worlds, of course ;-)

A man has fallen in love with two different kind of women. One is on the wild side and the other is girl next-door-like. Those are the two different worlds the text I read is talking about.

Taking that into account, is the sentence understandable?

Thanks

Ah, I have a better idea now, thanks.

I think I would probably say simply "Two worlds in one" or "the two worlds existing in this one". It would really depend on the rest of the sentence. Can you give the whole sentence in which this phrase would appear?

Yes, I'll try but the original is in Spanish. Nevertheless I see you are in Madrid.

"Es la historia de un hombre atrapado entre dos mundos que están en éste"

My proposal of translation: It is the story of a man trapped between two worlds which are in this one (or within this one).

Thanks for your interest and kind attention

How about something like 'torn between the two worlds that make our world'?

But they don't make OUR world.

'torn between the two worlds that make up his world'?

How can 2 metaphorical worlds = 1 physical world?

See my previous post for my suggestion.
