During my time at ABC University

    Hi,

    Question:
Which statement will you think after reading my sentence?

    Sentence:

During my time at ABC University, I would assist a lecturer with his data collection for his research.

    Statement1:
I studied at ABC University, and I would assist a lecturer almost everyday.
    Statement2:
I worked at ABC University, and I would assist a lecturer almost everyday.
    Statement3:
I studied at ABC University, and I would assist a lecturer, but you don't know how often I assist him, and don't know during which period at which I would assist him.
    Statement4:
I worked at ABC University, and I would assist a lecturer, but you don't know how often I assist him, and don't know during which period at which I would assist him.
    Statement5:
You don't know about I worked or studied at ABC University.

    Thanks

Definitely not 1 or 2 because your original sentence doesn't suggest that you helped almost every day.
Not 3 because you haven't specified that you studied there.
Not 4 because you haven't specified that you worked there.
Which only leaves 5 - that is true because you haven't specified whether you worked there or studied there.

As a side comment, "every day" should be two words. "Everyday" is an adjective meaning "ordinary."
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
