Question:
Which statement will you think after reading my sentence?

Sentence:

During my time at ABC University, I would assist a lecturer with his data collection for his research.


Statement1:
I studied at ABC University, and I would assist a lecturer almost everyday.
Statement2:
I worked at ABC University, and I would assist a lecturer almost everyday.
Statement3:
I studied at ABC University, and I would assist a lecturer, but you don't know how often I assist him, and don't know during which period at which I would assist him.
Statement4:
I worked at ABC University, and I would assist a lecturer, but you don't know how often I assist him, and don't know during which period at which I would assist him.
Statement5:
You don't know about I worked or studied at ABC University.

Definitely not 1 or 2 because your original sentence doesn't suggest that you helped almost every day.
Not 3 because you haven't specified that you studied there.
Not 4 because you haven't specified that you worked there.
Which only leaves 5 - that is true because you haven't specified whether you worked there or studied there.

As a side comment, "every day" should be two words. "Everyday" is an adjective meaning "ordinary."
