    cover-up and double-talk

What do the cover-up and double-talk mean in the sentence below?

Can we drop the cover-up double-talk?

    Thanks.

cover-up- when people try to hide a crime or something wrong that has been done to avoid detection or to stop peole finding out about it
double-talk- twisting words, lying, not telling the whole truth, etc, to conceal information
