Re: what is difference "are you doing" and "do you doing"

You can't say What do you doing.

    You can ask:

    What are you doing?
    What do you do?

    Here is the difference.
    1. What are you doing - you are asking for event that are in progress now, events happening at the moment of speaking or actions happening around the time of speaking.

    2. What do you do - asking for habitual actions, actions that are generally true or asking someone what his job is.

Generally, the verb TO BE with its present or past forms is used for actions in progress (Present Continuous Tense, Past Continuous Tense). The verb TO DO with its present and past forms is used for simple tenses (Present Simple, Past Simple). It can be used as an auxiliary and a main verb. It is often used in questions and as the auxiliary is always followed with a bare infinitive.

There are many other uses but I would be enough for now.
