The meaning of a weird sentence

<< If you have money you can make the ghosts and devils turn your grind stone>>

I found this sentence in a book, and I still couldn't get the meaning of it, so please help me!

    Thank you in advance.

I "googled" it and it seems to be a Chinese proverb which means something like "if you have money you can do anything."

Take a look for instance at Melanie Finney's page:
    Language and Proverbs

By the way, in which book have you found it?
