2006 teacher , Thank you for your help!

1 I think we can say I am going to buy another one pair of shoes.and we can omit pair of shoes. So I am going to buy another one should be OK.

2 The reason why I ask this one is that I am not sure if To drive is correct. Because I chose Driving, but the excise book which I am using says the answer is To drive. I got confused. 2006 teacher, Why is to drive incorrect?

3 My teacher told me like to do is almost same as like doing, so I think both are OK! But I just can choose one,So I got confused.2006 teacher
    Please teach me!

    Thank you again!

and we can omit pair of shoes. No, you can't.

A pair of shoes is two shoes, and both are worn out. You need to by another pair, not just another one. (= one shoe)

2 The reason why I ask this one is that I am not sure if To drive is correct. It's not correct.
I got confused. 2006 teacher, Why is to drive incorrect? Because we use the gerund form to head the noun phrase 'Driving cars too fast'.

We just don't use 'To drive' there. Although it would be understandable, it is not standard/correct English.

3 My teacher told me like to do is almost same as like doing, so I think both are OK! Sometimes it's the same but not after the word "feel".
I don't like to eat (when I'm studying).
    I don't like eating (when I'm studying).

I don't feel like to eat.
    I don't feel like eating. .

1 To see is to belive!

2 To live means to creat!

3 To win or to lose is temporary!

    Thank you!

1 To see is to believe!

You can say 1 and 2, but it is more common to use gerunds. (verb-ing)
Seeing is believing! (This is a very common saying.)
    Living means creating!

3 To win or to lose is temporary! I don't know anyone who would say this.
    Winning or losing is temporary.

    Thank you!
So you can see that sometimes the infinitive verb form is acceptable and sometimes it's not. It depends on the verb that you are using and the whole sentence.
In your sentences, the gerund forms are always correct because gerunds function as nouns, and a noun is most suitable in those places.

Don't be too discouraged. You can only learn this gradually over a long period of time.
