    do the car door

Let me do the car door - it won't close properly.

What does 'do the car door' mean?

I think that "let me do the door" means "let me close the door"

    Re: do the car door

It depends on context. It could be an offer to close it, or to mend it, or to paint it, or to treat it for rust... , or it could be a claim to the right to do better what someone else is already doing - 'Here, let me do it, I have the knack'.
