    English Literature

What does "rhetoric language" mean? I found it in a text about English Literature in the 16th century.
I'm reading old English texts and poems and I find many difficult and strange words that don't exist in any dictionary! How can I understand such texts????
I mean is there any dictionary to translate these old words??

    Re: English Literature

Rhetoric is the art of using language effectively. Here's a dictionary of rhetorical terms:
