    Meaning of the words

    Sentences:

    1. I need a refund of the money. (I guess, we can just say, "I need a refund", unless "refund" can be used for anything other than "money")

    2. A set of instructions to read off and churn through.

    3. You have got a manual with step by step procedures to plod through.

    4. I will wait until you figure out what is hosed up in the system.
Please, someone explain what those sentences mean.
Thank you for your help in advance!
