I think you can say very united, but a better adjective for what you have in mind is close-knit.

Can I say "my family is very united" ? (I mean, we can count on one another, we are always in touch, etc) (is "united" gradable ?)

There's also the 'coroner', who decides on the cause of death.![]()
I think coroner is an official title. The coroner's office is established by law. Any pathologist can determine the cause of death, but a coroner is desinnated by law to investigate suspicious deaths.
