The ever increasing lexical databases and corpora have made access to such data all the more easy.
Can anyone here give a better word than easy while keeping the same meaning?

Probably not, if easy is the intended meaning.

"The ever increasing lexical databases and corpora have made such data all the more accessible."

I'm not too happy with 'such data' if it is referring back to 'database and corpora' since these contain data but are not data themselves. Of course, though, if the relevant data was (or were - take your pick!) mentioned in the previous paragraph, 'such data' is fine.

One more thing: do databases increase? I mean, a single database could grow or expand, but can it increase?

"Check out alexcase's expanding/growing database of football terms on the General Language Discussions forum!"
"Check out alexcase's increasing database of football terms on the General Language Discussions forum!"

'Increasing' doesn't sound right to me here.

Or do you mean 'The ever increasing number of ...'?

Hey!
Thank you so much. Your reply was of much help to me.
I think yes. Databases may increase as well as expand. If one is talking about info within the same database, then it's "expanding. If we are talking about different databases, then the use of "increase" is perhaps legitimate. I hope this makes sense to you.
Thanks again my friend.
Best,

I'm not a native speaker of English, though. It's my third language.

:up: You can often find this sort of synonym by using a Latin dictionary (not that any sane person would choose to do it that way ;-)) -

easy -> facilis -> facilitate
bold -> audax -> audacious
help -> auxilium -> auxiliary
... etc.
