    The subjunctive

    Hello,

Could you tell me please where can I find a complete list of common verbs and expressions followed by the subjunctive in a noun clause.
Some sentences begin with "it is" but they are not followed by the subjunctive, how should I distinguish simple sentences from those followed by the subjunctive?
    Thank you.

    [NOT a teacher]

Sondra, please take a look at the following site:

    ENGLISH PAGE - Subjunctive

At least part of the tutorial deals with the expressions commonly followed by the subjunctive mood of a verb. Actually I found it very instructive, with the explanations written in a concise form, very easy to absorb.
