the verb to project and an expression

    Hello,

Please explain the meaning of this verb.

Actors must learn to project their voices.

And the expression "far as I am concerned"

Nina: Do you mind if I put this coat in the closet?

John: Far as I am concerned. It is not mine.

    Thank you.
