    plz correct this sentence

    we had there to attend wedding and also to meet sams cousin. we will be there one weekend .

    We were there to attend the wedding and to meet Sam's cousin. I am sure we will be there one weekend.

    Out of context it's not easy to know if this is what you meant because the first sentence appears to be talking about a past event and the second about a future event.

    We got there to attend the wedding and to meet Sam's cousin as well. We would be there for one weekend.

    Has this happened already? I'm not sure of the tenses.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
