hi everybody
please help me understanding what red one wants to say
thanks
For some unknown reason, Goebbels does not comment on the Reichstag speech—at least, in the days and months that followed. (Down the road he would see it as something of a milestone.) In fact for the next 10 months one finds no substantial reference to the Jewish Question at all.

"Down the road" = in the future
"Milestone" = an important event, in this example, in history

Bill has answered your specific question well. Please also now see the amendments I have made to your original post. It may seem petty and trivial, but if you get used to using capitalisation and punctuation every time you post, it will become natural to you.
