    Question them or which?

    The choice of the English equivalents should be based on a number of criteria. The most important of which/them is what we may call usage .

    I completely agree.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
