    mount him on the wall

What does ' mount him on the wall' mean in the following sentence?

reenwald has brilliantly targeted the already frenzied over-30 set, used the lure of a Harvard MBA to gain their confidence, then promised that if they work all 15 steps, they will bag a man like a prize deer in the hunting season. Mounting him on the wall after the wedding is optional, of course.

It refers back to the previous sentence about hunting deer. After hunting and killing a deer, one of the possible things to do with it is to cut off the head and hang it on the wall as a trophy! The writer is saying that having hunted down your perfect man, you could, if you wished, do the same with him as you would do with the deer, but it is, of course, unlikely. The final sentence is a little sarcastic!
