You haven't given us much to go on! Can you post a couple of sentences where you would like to know which to use, or if they are interchangeable?

.... as yet we have received 25 complaints ..... No. As yet at the beginning of a sentence is normally followed by a negative - "As yet, I haven't spent any money, but I will later.
.... so far, we have received 25 complaints ..... Yes
See above. With your first example, I assume the full sentence would be something like:

Since I haven't heard back from him yet, I'm going to have to email him again!

    Re: So Far / Yet

**Neither a teacher nor a native speaker.**

Use "so far" for positive statements.
I have watched all five episodes so far.
My friend has had 3 cars so far.

    Use "yet" for negative statements.
I have not watched all five episodes yet.
My friend has not called me yet.
We have not tested your program yet.

    Cheers!
