    Red face good

    Hello,

-Is there a difference between: "this doesn't sound right" and "this doesn't sound good"?

-If someone says something a little irrelevant, can we say in a teasing way, "oh that's good to know!" or or is it better to say "oh!, it's nice to know. ?

    Thank you
    W

    Hi Will,

    a) Yes, there is. 'He says his dad won 1m but that doesn't sound right.'

'The doctor says he has HIV. This doesn't sound good to me.'

    b) Use either version for the same effect.
