    Hello, Harry.

    (1) I agree with tedtmc: they are both correct -- depending on what

    you wish to say:

    (a) I have traveled to America many times.

    (i) I have been to America many times/ I have gone there five times.

    (2) I have traveled America five times.

    (a) I have visited many different places in the United States on five

different occasions. In other words, I have traveled throughout the

    country on five different occasions.

***** Thank you for your question *****

Re: Hello,Teachers, Which one is correct? Thank you!

Yes, to be clear about the difference:
Traveled to America -- You didn't start in America, but it was your destination.
Traveled America -- You have visited many places within America.

Some people say things like "When I retire, I'm going to buy a big RV (that's a big trailer) and travel the country." That means they will see many parts of it, moving from one spot to another.

Note: Traveled is the standard spelling in the US. It's not wrong. It's weird to me that enrolled has two Ls here and traveled has one, but I supposed it's equally weird that enroled has one L in the UK and travelled has two.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Excuse me,
Can u explain why I can't use the preposition " to" instead of "in"
Can I say " I have traveled to America"?
    Many thanks!

tedtmc, the parser, and I have all said that "to" is okay. Why do you think it's not okay now?

I like both American and British English. I can't say which one I prefer... I don't understand why Americans and English people have so much disagreement on English Language.... I just want to say you both speak one language with a lot of variations...
