Thumbs up Throw the ball Or Throw him the ball?

Please throw the ball to him/her. I heard this one most of the time since I was born.

But I am confused now thinking which one is correct?

    Please throw me/her/him the ball?
    OR

Please throw the ball to her/me/him?

Re: Throw the ball Or Throw him the ball?

Both approaches to the object are equally correct.
