Hello,

I want to know which phrase is correct.
For example, I want everyone to pair up with someone and ask them to talk to a partner.

Should I write 'I want people to talk to their PARTNER' or 'I want people to talk to their PARTNERS?'

I find this quite difficult so I'd appreciate it if someone (can? could? - which wone should I use here?) help me.

Thank you

I think it should be "talk to their partners" since there are many partners - they are not all talking to one person.
