    Wink Thereof?

    Ambiguity is a prevalent linguistic phenomenon in language and a property thereof.Is the use of 'thereof' correct? it refers to language.

    Sure. It's correct and only used in [formal] writing.

    -Ambiguity is a prevalent linguistic phenomenon in language and a property of that.
    -The Civil Code and the Articles thereof are subject to change = the Articles of the Civil Code can be changed.
