    Some vocabs

Hi , I have made some sentences in which the words that I have recently learnt are used . I am wondering if I have used them properly and my sentences make sense .

I cajoled 100 bucks out of my father's wallet. ( : I persuaded him to give me 100 dollar )

Having found the obscene materials cached in his car, they were under the
impression that he was in cahoots with the thieves.

Then they got down to groping in his trunk and they found drugs, guns and the whole caboodle .

They heaped up /piled up a cairn.

Let me know the blunders I have made ! Thanks in advance

    Hello, Mr. Mckane.

    (1) As I start typing this, no one else has yet replied, so may I

    start?

    (a) I think that you can cajole something out of a person only -- not a

thing , such as a wallet.

    (b) I would say: Having found the materials hidden/concealed in the

trunk... . I think that "cached" is not appropriate -- at least to my ears.

    (c) The verb "grope" is a very "dangerous" word. That is, it means

many things, including some very personal things. Maybe it would be

better to say: They got down to searching his trunk, and ... .

    (d) I know nothing about cairns.

    (2) I think that you have done a very nice job. Let's see what

    others think.

    ***** Thank you.
