    Is it correct ?

    is it right to say what comes around goes around
    I know its what goes around come around
    but is it right to say what comes around goes around ?

    Hi and welcome to Using English.

    I think I've heard "what comes around goes around" more often, but they both seem okay to me.


    Google gives 1.9 million hits for the goes/comes and 28.7 million for comes/goes.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    RE: I think it's better to say "what goes around, comes around" because of the meaning of it.
    Usually something goes away and then comes back ...
