    Well, you have put a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence which is a good start.

    What about the first person singular pronoun?

    And I assume your sentence is a question, therefore a full stop at the end is not appropriate.

    To save this thread running for weeks, here is how your sentence should look:

    Can I fix you a cup of tea?

    I have underlined the relevant points.

    1) Capital letter at the beginning.
    2) Always capitalise "I".
    3) It's a question, so it must have a question mark at the end.

    Your original question was "Is this sentence OK?" (note the capitalisation and punctuation again).

    In AmE, I would say yes. In BrE, we say "Can/shall I make you a cup of tea?"

    Not a teacher.

    "May I..." is the formal, proper way to ask, but many or most natives will say "Can I..."
