What is " Me behind my back " mean?

What is " Me behind my back " mean ?

I guessed that mean "Someone is gossiped another people when he/she don't stay here"

To make sure I would like to know I guess correct or not.

The last question I would like to improve asking a question, Usually
I use correct or not when asking a question, If in this cause "To make sure I would like to know I guess correct or not" What do we use when asking a question except correct or not.

"They were talking about me behind my back" means that they were discussing me without my being present.

"They were {talking about me} {behind my back}" - so the short answer is 'me behind' doesn't mean anything!
