    Please correct my sentences

Her good grades were all flukey.

She gave herself away like a lamb to the slaughter.

She told every thing to the teacher like a lamb to the slaughter.

The fluency by which he speaks English is astonishing.

There are a lot of ways to circumvent/get round the obstacles.

[QUOTE=Nathan Mckane;624049]Her good grades were all flukey. Doesn't make sense.

She gave herself away like a lamb to the slaughter. OK

She told every thing to the teacher like a lamb to the slaughter. I wouldn't use the expression "lamb to....." in this sentence.

The fluency by which he speaks English is astonishing. His English fluency is astonishing.

There are a lot of ways to circumvent/get round the obstacles. Either is OK.

Their anonymity will be guaranteed by the police. OK
