    interpretation of two sentences

    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the following sentences?

They saw him playing tennis. (at the present moment)

They saw him (to) play tennis. (in general)

    Thanks for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V

    Re: interpretation of two sentences

They saw him playing tennis (many times in the past).

They saw him play tennis (maybe only once in the past).
