    revising of four sentences 2

    Dear teachers,

Would you been kind enough to share with me your opinion concerning the following sentences?

    Did he need to leave?
    Did he have to leave?
    Need he have left?
    Should he have left?

    Thanks for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V.

    They are all grammatically correct.

    Two additional notes:
The third one would be very uncommon in the US, and the fourth one doesn't have the same meaning (but you probably knew that).
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
