    Which sentence is correct?

    The school gives over at 3 pm.
    or
    The school gets over at 3 pm.

    School gets out at 3 pm. ('School', not 'The school')

    Don't ask me to explain, but that is what's said.

    I think some people also say 'School lets out at 3 pm.'
