    I think 3.and 4.express two meanings,both are correct.Please give your opinions.Thanks a lot!

    You could use A or B, but there are a couple of problems with this sentence:

    1) Tenses don't match - "he is" should be followed by "he knows".
    2) In BrE at least, I believe we would say "Child though he is..."
